In Person and Online

Letter to the Congregation

Released: March 16th 2020
Updated: February 23rd 2021

Brother’s & Sister’s in Christ,
Your church is still here for you!

We are meeting for Worship every Sunday at 10:30am-- in-person and live on Facebook (Parkminster Church | Facebook).
Our worship services glorify God through the best of contemporary and traditional styles of worship.  We are currently in a sermon series titled:  Journey through Matthew's Gospel.  We look forward to seeing you Sunday!

If you would like to join us in person, please see the up-to-date instructions below on how to participate in our socially-distanced worship services.

- Please enter via the Sanctuary Entrance ONLY.
- Hand sanitizer and masks are available to you at the entrance.
- You are required to wear a mask.  Please wear it over both your nose and mouth.
- Please practice social distancing, keeping 6 feet between you and others.
- We have marked off rows in the sanctuary to allow family groups and individuals to space appropriately during our worship services.
- Please exit the Sanctuary and Foyer immediately following the service, unless you are gathering at the front of the Sanctuary for prayer.  You are encouraged to socialize outside.

Sunday Worship Online — View the Livestream Here
The plan going forward is to have an online worship service.
Our worship service will be live on Parkminster's Facebook Page Share with family and friends that they can join us for worship! We understand some still have anxieties about attending in person, and we will continue to provide this online experience for you to remain in the safety of your home while worshipping live with us, so tune in!
  • If you miss the livestream a recording will be available here by Sunday at 3pm.
  • Note: You do not need a Facebook account to view the livestream or recordings.

We will use email, our website & app as a way to communicate with you.  Please regularly check these for information, prayer requests, needs, etc. If you don't get our weekly email updates and would like them, contact the church office.

You can
1. Mail your check to the church @ 2710 Chili Ave  Rochester NY 14624
2. Give Online- Details for how to give online are further down this page.

Life Groups —
Your group leader will be in touch with your group about whether you will meet online or take a break for a while.

Events —
All special events are cancelled for now.  We will let you know when they resume.

Church Building Will be Locked —
If you plan to meet at the church for any reason, please let Debbie know.  You will need a key to get in.  You will also need to sanitize surfaces, door handles & railings.

Here is another reason it is important to financially support Parkminster:
I received a phone call from one of the AA group leaders yesterday asking if the Church would be open for them to continue having their meetings during this health crisis.  I explained that the church leadership had discussed their building needs on Sunday and had worked out a way for them to meet in a larger space during this time so they could offer social distancing to have a safer meeting.  They will be meeting in the social hall for now, and will be sanitizing tables and door knobs before they leave for the night (which they were happy to do) so it would be ready for the next group to use.  We have four AA groups and one Co-Dependents group that meet here throughout the week.  Please keep them in your prayers, to stay strong during this stressful time and that they would also stay healthy.

Thank you for your continuing support of Parkminster.
